Bio: I am a lot of things, but for the purposes of this blog, I am a textbook case of borderline personality disorder (BPD). My intention is that this blog give others with BPD - as well as those that care about them - perspective, insight, and hopefully, even a little bit of hope, help or comfort regarding the nature of this very strange and overwhelming disorder.

  1. Hey Cat, I just wanted to say that I relate to almost everything you write about on this blog. It has been really helpful for me and it’s even convinced me to go back to therapy. Thanks for sharing your story and I hope you keep blogging!

  2. Haven’t seen a new post in awhile, hope everything is alright. You’re one of the few BPD’s I know of that does look like they still have a shot at over coming it. I got about 30 years of stories myself, so I understand.

    1. Sorry for the delay! It has everything to do with work being lame/busy and not a lot else – I really miss blogging and it’s nice to know anyone reading it misses me so thank you for the comment!

  4. Thank you so much for your candour. I read here to try and understand my ex-fiancee. He is classic pwBPD. He left me in a rage and hasn’t returned. I miss him and wish him all the best but mostly I just want to understand him. So if there is ever a chance to sit face to face with him I might be a better version of me by understanding his journey.

    1. Hi Viv, thank you for reading and for your comment. Your partner is very lucky to have someone care about him as much as you obviously do. If there is one thing I have learned in my years and years of BPD, it’s that all my blaming and hating and raging at others was a total lie and waste of time (and very hurtful to them, of course); the healing totally had to start from within me. For that reason, I hope you never blame yourself. I wish you all the very best. Please take care of yourself! xxxx
